Principal's Message

Welcome to a new school year filled with endless possibilities at Mimosa Elementary, where every child’s success is our shared mission.   Whether you are a returning family or joining us for the first time, we are thrilled to have you as a part of our school family. 

At Mimosa Elementary, we believe in the power of education to transform lives.  Our dedicated staff is committed to providing high-quality instruction and support to ensure that every student reaches their full potential.  We believe that education is a partnership between school and home, and community support is essential to our students’ success.  Together, we form a supportive network dedicated to nurturing each child’s academic, social, and emotional growth. We strive to cultivate a nurturing and inclusive environment where students feel valued, challenged, and empowered to succeed.  Your involvement and support make a significant difference in creating a positive and enriching school experience for our school.

Our school mascot is our belove manatee.  Just as the manatee navigates the waters will resilience and grace, our students will explore new ideas, embrace challenges, and grow into confident learners and leaders.  We are here to celebrate their success, big and small, and to guide them through any obstacles they may encounter along the way.
